| 1. Shut off screen saver: This takes your computer
memory, and processor energy. If you PC is limited on either,
you will want to shut this down so everything continues to work
flawlessly.
2. Shut off your "Power Saver" settings: This will
shut down your hard drive, not good!
Shut Off Screensaver
Here's how:
a. Right Click anywhere on your desktop.
b. Choose "Properties."
c. Choose "Screen Saver" tab.
d. Click the arrow to drop down the menu under "Screen
Saver."
e. Click on "None" then click "Apply"
f. You are done.

| Shut off Power
Savings Features
Here's how:
a. Click Your "Start" button on bottom left of your
desktop.
b. Choose "Control Panel."
c. Double Click "Power Options"
d. Make sure "Turn off Monitor" and "System Standby"
is set to "Never."
e. Click the "Hibernate" tab.
f. Make sure the "Enable Hibernation" box is
not checked.
g. Check "Ok" or "Apply" if you had to
make changes.
h. You are done.
