Troubleshooting Tips

We have tested this product very thoroughly, however the planet is not perfect yet, so until then we have some tips to keep your up and running.

1.  CNC stops taking blocks of code from your PC.  Overflow alarms.

a.  Double check your cabling to be sure you are working in a null-modem configuration.  Communication parameters must be set at 7,E,1 at whatever Baud rate you have matched with your PC and Xon/Xoff is enabled and turned on.  This is software flow control and it does need to be turned on.
b.  Make sure your screensaver is turned off.
c.  Make sure your power settings are such that your hard drive does not shut off and your PC does not hibernate.

d.  If all else fails, try this.  From the file menu select "Operate" then when the dropdown window opens, select "Select & Write File from Disk."

This will open a box to find the file you want to send to your PC and actually run it from your hard drive rather than from RAM memory.  In cases where you are lean on memory, this option allows you to bypass starving memory issues and keep the flow to your machine seamless.
